We found out that Romanians prefer destinations abroad, unlike those in Romania, where accommodation prices have increased by an average of 30%.
In 2022, on average, Romanians spent 116 euros (approximately 570 lei) on plane tickets. The most popular day for booking tickets on Kiwi.com was September 9th, and the date when most Romanians who use Kiwi.com traveled was September 15th, according to wall-street.ro.
If you have a travel agency, we recommend creating promotions and online campaigns to reach as many customers as possible just before the season. A content strategy will help you make your presence felt online, and collaborations with influencers or loyalty programs for content creators who can generate user content will definitely yield results!
